AJ Callan:
Born in Glasgow in 1958, AJ Callan has spent most of his life in the Yorkshire Pennines. A passion for art soon manifested itself at school. Five years studying art and design led to a successful career in creative work.
After 27 years in the world of design and advertising he decided he needed to follow his dream of being a full time artist. So he took a leap into the unknown and left it all behind him-a decision he has never regretted. Within months he was selling his unique piggy bank collection around the world through the galleries of the art publisher Washington Green.
But never being one to sit still, the artist has continued to expand his portfolio of work, as can now be seen here.
